Native to Northern Michigan, this unique stone is a Leland, Michigan Treasure hand hunted on the shores of Lake Michigan.
These unique flecked Leland Blue stone are hunted in the heart of the Leelanau Peninsula. Inspired by our family hikes in the neighboring Sleeping Bear Dunes, birch trees paired with these fish town bright blues seemed like the perfect pair. I've taken a rustic approach with my concept of birch trees and created a hand stamped and sawed design.
Silversmithed in sterling silver, these are extremely lightweight and hang about 2 inches in length and are a great piece of Northern Michigan to wear.
